This sort of thing actually belongs in the General Forum. you'll get a much quicker response this way

There is already a thread about this in the General Forum and it looks like Google may have changed their update site a bit and it is causing problems with the software definition in Pulse.

I will update the other thread with more information as I continue investigating.
