About Pulse

Pulse is:

  • Free
  • Easy to use
  • Helps you locate, install and configure the Eclipse platform and free or commercial plugins

Pulse is a FREE, easy-to-use product that gives software developers the most effective and efficient way to locate and install their Eclipse-based tool suite.
By delivering the fastest possible download to users and allowing full individual customization of their Eclipse installs, Pulse is quickly becoming the de-facto mechanism for obtaining and managing Eclipse-based technology.

Pulse was created by and is maintained by Genuitec, LLC, creators of the MyEclipse Enterprise Workbench. Participating external software vendors have chosen to be part of the Powered by Pulse network, creating this free, multifaceted catalog of software options for Pulse users.

How it works

Pulse is extremely easy to use. The download and install process is a guided procedure that can get you up and running immediately with one of the pre-loaded, pre-configured profiles, or you can create your own profile and begin sharing it immediately with friends or coworkers.
Since Pulse both maintains your profile and downloads and sets up the software, once you're ready to roll, it will all be configured for you and ready to run out of the box.

Pulse Freelance

Pulse Freelance is a value-add service for Pulse users available for only $6/month per user. What do you get for that low cost?

With Freelance you can add and share your own plugins to customize your catalog, share your workspace settings and see additional catalog options not available in the standard version. You have even more control and flexibility over your Eclipse exerience for an insignificant cost per month. Freelance is available for a 30-day trial, so feel free to see if it's right for you or your team.
